Compare two grooming quotes on the same basis

A lower starting price can become the same total after required extras. Compare the completed visit, deposit timing and cancellation exposure separately.

Enter two quotes for the same dog and requested service. Zero means you have entered no charge; it does not confirm that the provider includes the item for free.

Quote A

Provider A

Completed-visit difference: $0.00. Check package scope and suitability before choosing by cost.

Amounts are in U.S. dollars. A credited deposit is part of the visit total. Use the provider’s terms for one specified cancellation time; this tool does not decide whether a fee is payable or refundable. Entries stay in this page’s memory and disappear when you reload.

Get a comparable quote first

Give both businesses the same coat length, size, condition and requested finish. A bath and face tidy is a different service from a full-body haircut. Write down whether nail grinding, ear care, drying, travel and pickup time are included. Ask for a range when the groomer needs to see the coat before quoting.

Convert an hourly quote to a visit amount

Calypso’s published service standards, checked October 4, 2026, give a $90 hourly rate. If 90 minutes of billable grooming are agreed, the labor amount is $135. Enter $135 as the base service amount rather than the $90 hourly rate. This is an arithmetic example; confirm minimums, rounding, what time is billable and any other charges before treating an estimate as a fixed total.

Separate timing from total cost

A $25 deposit credited toward an $85 visit means $25 before the appointment and $60 afterward, for $85 overall. A separate booking fee that is not credited belongs in mandatory fees. If you cancel, only the provider’s stated refund and cancellation terms determine what is retained or charged.

Use an explicit cancellation scenario

Compare the same notice window at both businesses, such as cancellation 30 hours before the appointment. Enter the deposit that would be kept plus any additional charge. If a $40 cancellation fee already includes a $25 retained deposit, the extra charge is $15. Do not enter $40 again.
