Current site and scope
This notice describes the current static website at doggroomersus.com, which is published and maintained by Nocturnal Devs, an independent product studio based in Toronto, Canada. You can browse the directory, guides, and tools without creating an account. The site currently has no account system, onsite contact form, saved profile, or advertising network. Google Analytics for Firebase starts automatically when a supported browser loads the site; there is no onsite analytics-consent prompt.
The directory is delivered as public pages and files. Search filtering, planning tools, and the comparison checklist run in the visitor's browser; the site does not intentionally submit the text typed into those features to an application database.
Hosting and request data
Cloudflare Pages currently hosts and delivers the site. Cloudflare can process ordinary network and security information such as an IP address, request time, requested URL, traffic-routing data, browser or device details, system configuration information, and security or error events. That processing supports page delivery, caching, abuse prevention, analytics, and service security and is subject to Cloudflare's privacy policy.
The site's current application code does not set advertising or account cookies. Google Analytics for Firebase loads automatically and may use cookies or similar identifiers to measure visits, interactions, device and browser characteristics, approximate location derived from an IP address, referrer information, and page performance. Hosting providers may also use cookies or similar mechanisms when necessary for security and network services. A search phrase included in a page URL may be part of the requested URL seen by hosting and analytics infrastructure, even though ordinary typing in the onsite search field is filtered locally.
Location features
The “Use my location” control asks the browser for permission only after it is selected. If permission is granted, the page compares the coordinates in the browser with a downloaded list of directory cities and opens the nearest available city page. The feature does not intentionally send the coordinates to Dog Groomers US or store a location history.
The browser, operating system, and device control the permission prompt and may have their own location settings. Declining permission does not prevent browsing by state or city.
Search and planning tools
The directory search downloads a public search-index file and filters it in the browser. The schedule planner and other interactive tools calculate their results from choices entered on the device. The groomer comparison checklist saves its checked items and notes in the browser's local storage so the visitor can return to the worksheet; the checklist provides a clear reset control that removes that saved copy. These tools do not create an account or intentionally send the entered checklist, planner, calculator, or script-builder content to a Dog Groomers US application server.
Loading a tool or search page still creates ordinary requests for the page, scripts, images, and public data files, which hosting infrastructure can process as described above. Following a link to a groomer's website moves the visit to a separate site with its own privacy practices.
Email and correction requests
If you email [email protected], your email service and the recipient's email service can process your address, message, attachments, and delivery metadata. That information is used to understand and respond to the request, evaluate a correction or claim, and document a material directory change when relevant.
Send only what is necessary. Do not email passwords, payment-card details, complete identity documents, medical records, or other sensitive information. Business contact details supplied for publication may appear on a listing; private verification material is not intended to become directory content.
Analytics, advertising, and future changes
Google Analytics for Firebase, a Google service, begins collecting analytics automatically when its web SDK is supported and successfully loads. It helps measure traffic, popular pages, referral sources, and site interactions, and Google may process analytics information under its own terms and privacy policy. Dog Groomers US uses aggregate reporting to understand and improve the directory; it does not use Firebase Authentication, Firestore, or Firebase Storage to collect visitor submissions in this implementation.
Grow, Journey by Mediavine, and other advertising vendors have not been activated in this implementation. The current site does not claim to sell or share visitor data for cross-context behavioral advertising. Before an advertising, account, form, or other data-handling vendor is activated, this notice must be updated and any consent or opt-out controls required for the active service and visitor's region must be added.
Your choices and requests
You can deny or revoke browser location permission and contact [email protected] about information included in an email you sent or personal information displayed on a directory page. Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide rights to access, correct, delete, or limit certain processing. Identity or authority may need to be verified before acting on a request.
The core directory can be browsed without sharing precise browser location. The site does not display an analytics-consent popup or provide an onsite analytics toggle. Browser privacy controls and content blockers can limit or clear cookies, local-storage data, similar identifiers, and referrer information, although strict settings may affect features supplied by the browser or hosting network. You can also use Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on where supported.
Children, security, and changes
The site is for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly ask children to submit personal information. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided information can contact us for review.
We use reasonable measures appropriate to a static public site, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Material changes to this notice should be reflected in the reviewed date and, when appropriate, a more prominent notice.
