What to include in a grooming estimate
Start with the package the provider actually quoted for your dog’s size, coat, condition, and requested style. Add only services or fees the business has explained, such as nail grinding, specialty shampoo, extra brushing time, mobile travel, or a coat-condition charge. If the business gives a range, run both ends so the possible total is visible.
Sales-tax treatment varies by state and locality, so the tax field starts at zero. Ask the provider whether tax applies and enter the rate shown on its estimate. Gratuity is also set to zero because it is optional and personal; the calculator should never imply that a particular percentage is required.
Compare scope before comparing totals
A lower number is not necessarily the same service. Ask whether the quote includes the bath, drying method, haircut or tidy, brushing, nails, ears, sanitary work, and the time your dog’s coat may require. Compare cancellation, late-pickup, handling, and coat-condition policies before booking.
