How often might your dog need grooming?

Put extra attention on mat prevention, brushing, and coat length. This is a conversation starter, not a fixed schedule.

Every dog is different. A groomer or veterinarian who can assess your dog in person should guide skin, coat, nail, and medical decisions.
How to use the result
The suggested range is intentionally broad. Coat growth, matting, shedding, nail growth, skin health, weather, activity, home brushing, and the style you prefer can all change the interval.
Bring the result to a consultation and ask what the groomer notices after handling the coat. For sudden skin, ear, pain, or mobility changes, contact your veterinarian rather than relying on a scheduling tool.
